The Basics Labour Law Poster Pack provides you with posters relevant to employers and employees alike.
The Basic Conditions of Employment Act gives effect to the right to fair labour practices in South Africa and applies to all employers and workers. It regulates leave, working hours, employment contracts, deductions, payslips, and termination.
The Occupational Health and Safety Act and the relevant regulations, on the one hand, must be made readily available at a workplace employing 5 or more workers. Even where the total number of employees is less than five, the employer must, when requested by an employee, make a copy of the Act available to that employee.
